Rainbow Cake
Calling all cake lovers! Below is a picture of a 6 layered cake, with designer, Wanda Beaver:
This is the new “it” cake. It is a 6 layered cake, each layer with a different colour and taste, varying from mint to lemon to rasberry to pistachio. “It’s so pretty,” said Wanda Beaver, owner of “Wanda’s Pies in the Sky”.
This is a cake that I hope to try someday!

Blog Challenge-Week 6-Our World
There are lots of people in the world that don’t speak English. I am not one of them, but Gujarati is the second language that I speak. It originates from a state in India, called “Gujarat”. My parents and grandparents also speak it.
The outlined part is Gujarat.
In this post, I am going to tell you about my ancestors in 2 languages.
English
Hello, my name is Aashi. In this post I am going to talk about my ancestors. All of my 4 grandparents were born in Gujarat, India.
My parents were also born there. My parents are the first people in my family to immigrate to Canada. There are lots of food that my family and I eat, that my ancestors used to eat. There are also cultural events that we celebrate that date back lots of years ago.
This is a bit about my ancestors.

Blog Challenge-Week 5-Human Rights
EVERYONE HAS RIGHTS!
Everyone in the world has rights. Here are some examples of them:
Everyone has the right to…
- Not be a slave
- Have their privacy
- Live anywhere they want; no matter what religion they are or how they look/talk/act
- Make decisions for themselves
- Have and accomplish their dreams
- Have food, water, and shelter
- Speak a different language; Not just the national one for the country you live in
- Be respected by others
- Have free, clean and safe drinking water
- Have clothing
- Have free education for boys and girls
- Practice their religion
Everyone in the world doesn’t have all the rights listed above. If everyone did, that would be one of the steps to make the world PERFECT.
Above is the UN Human Rights Logo.
This is the book, “Every Human Has Rights”. I got lots of examples of Human Rights from there.
